What is a republican government?

Purpose of the Lesson:

The Founders gained some of the ideas about government from studying history.  They used this knowledge when the created our government. In this lesson, you will learn what the Founders thought about government.  When you have finished this lesson, you should be able to explain some of the advantages of a republican government.
