Organizing an Opinion Essay 

🎯 Objective: I can write an opinion essay. 

Purpose: Good writers organize their paper effectively for readers to understand their opinion.   

Success Criteria:

Materials Needed: 

notepad.png Lined paper and a pencil 

exclamation-point.png You will need your graphic organizer from last week's assignment: Tablet or Paper Copy and your writing.

Student Instructions:

1.  Watch the mini-lesson video.

2.  Review and revise your paper for the first time to check to make sure you have all the parts of your essay correctly organized into paragraphs.

3.  Reread your written essay and check for complete thoughts and sentences. 

4.  Take a picture of your essay and submit it.

5.  Keep your graphic organizer and written essay in a safe place for our next lesson.
