First Grade Spelling Words:
Reading Homework
Students will be required to read for 10 minutes each night in First Grade. Research has shown that students who read at home are more successful in achieving reading fluency and success in school. Your support at home is the best gift you can give your new reader. The only way to achieve success in reading is to READ.
"The more you READ, the more you KNOW. The more you KNOW, the Smarter you GROW! Dr. Suess
Students will bring home a Homework Baggie each night. Please watch for it each night. Students will be reading list of Zeno Words and reading fluency stories.
