Name: Lorin Harris

Mini Biography: Welcome! I've been teaching at Clearfield for as many years as I have hairs on my head (at least 9), and I love it here! I teach Sophomore English, Creative Writing 1 & 2, and Debate 1, 2, 3, & 4 (with Mr. Carter). My passions--when not teaching--include spending time with my dog, a Great Pyrenees and my family, as well as hiking, mountain biking, disc-golfing, or skiing and snowboarding. While teaching, I love deep questions and good discussions ("arguments"). I have always loved creative writing and the art of public speaking, so I try to incorporate those as well, as often as I can.

I don't take life too seriously, because I feel that it's always best to smile and laugh, even (and especially) if my humor isn't funny.
