Renewable Energy Presentation

Efforts are being made around the world to minimize the use of fossil fuels because emissions from these fuels are contributing to climate change, damaging environments, hurting air quality, and more. These fossil fuels are also finite meaning they will eventually run out.

As a result of the above people have been searching for renewable energy sources. Renewable means it will never run out.

For this project students will work in pairs to create a presentation on a renewable energy source.

Sources include: Solar, Wind, Geothermal, Hydroelectric, Oceanic, Biomass, Nuclear, Waste-to-Energy, Kinetic, Solar Wind Power, Jellyfish Power, Body Heat.

The sources above range from mainstream to theoretical. Select one to research and create either a poster or a slideshow to present to the class.

Your poster or slideshow should include:

A description of the renewable energy source. (How does it work?)

Pros and Cons of the renewable energy source.

Places where it makes sense to use this renewable energy.

Countries in the world that utilize this energy source.
