Math Grade 3. Chapter 3 Advantage Math (parent information)
During this chapter of math, we will work on the following math standard.
Represent and solve problems involving multiplication and division.
- Model Multiplication as repeated addition and by grouping objects equally.
- Represent multiplication using number lines and arrays
- Learn the commutative and associative properties of Multiplication
- Define Division and its relationship to multiplication
- Using factors of 2, 10, 5, 1 and 0
- Use multiple ways to divide 2 digit numbers by a single digit
- Use place value to understand multiplying by ten
- Learn the Order of Operations.
