- We will use 1 rubber band to make each side of our shape--each segment will be a different rubber band.

Each part of our shape needs to be connected, meaning if it were made on dot paper and cut out with scissors, it would stay connected.

Part 2
Use 4 rubber bands in the Geoboard app to make a 4 by 4 square. (This means 4 units on each side of the square.)
Use a new rubber band to divide the square into two equal size parts. How many "squares" are in each piece? (The squares on the geoboard are formed by the pegs.)
