  • The total time from recess to lunch is 75 minutes.

What is this in hours and minutes?

  • 60 minutes is an hour.
  • 75 - 60 = 15 (Subtract the 60 minutes which is the hour.  This leaves 15 minutes.)
  • 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • The total time from recess to lunch is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
