What is Scaredy Squirrel's schedule?

On Squirrels' schedule, how much time did he spend eating nuts?

• He ate a nut at 7 am, 12 noon, and 5 pm.  
• He spent 15 minutes in the morning, 30 minutes at noon, and 31 minutes in the evening.
• 15 + 30 + 31 = 76 min.     
• 60 (1 hour) + 16 (minutes) = 76 minutes. 
• He spent 1 hour (60 minutes) and 16 min. eating nuts.

How long did he spend looking at the view?

• He looked at the view at 7:15 am, 12:30 pm, and 5:31 pm.
• He spent 4 hours and 45 minutes in the morning, 4 hours and 30 minutes in the afternoon, and 2 hours 29 minutes before bed.
• 4 hours + 4 hours + 2 hours = 10 hours
• 45 min. + 30 min. + 29 min. =   104 min.  Which is 1 hour (60 min.) and 44 min.
• He spent 11 hours and 44 min. looking at the view.

How long after he woke up did he eat lunch?

• He woke up at 6:45a.m.  and ate lunch at 12:00 noon.
• This is 5 hours and 15 minutes.

• We need to figure that out.
