Chapter 3 Review

In Chapter 3, we learned about multiplication!  We learned that when we are adding the same numbers over and over, we can use multiplication to do it more quickly.  We can represent multiplication with groupings, arrays, and know that the "x" can mean "groups of," "rows of," "boxes of," etc.

Remember, that even though 3 x 5 and 5 x 3 will get you the same answer, they each have a different meaning.  3 groups of 5 is not the same as 5 groups of 3.
