Organizing an Narrative Story
🎯 Objective: I can introduce a topic and group related information together.
Purpose: Good writers organize their paper effectively for readers to understand the character traits, sequence of events, and cause & effect.
Success Criteria:
I will attack a prompt.
I will create an organizational structure for my narrative story.
Materials Needed:
Think Session Paper and a pencil
Student Instructions:
1. Read/Listen to the book Feathertop, click the link below. Feathertop

2. Attack the prompt to understand what you will be writing about.
3. Complete your Think Session graphic organizer.
4. Submit a picture of your completed Think Session graphic organizer to your teacher.
Prompt: What will happen to your scarecrow? Identify a problem that your scarecrow will have? Choose 3 events that your scarecrow will do or go through to solve the problem. Use many details to describe your scarecrow and explain what happens to your scarecrow in your narrative story.
