DECA is the International CTSO (Career & Technical Student Organization) for marketing students.  It is one of the two CTSOs that make up the B.A.M. (Business & Marketing) club here at LHS.  DECA is built upon the foundations of:

• Leadership Skills
• Community Involvement
• Development of future careers in business & marketing

WHAT DO YOU DO IN DECA?

The DECA club at LHS participates in school activities, community service, socials, and competitions.  In DECA we pride ourselves in our competitions.  These competitions have various events relating the the world of marketing, business, and leadership.

WHAT DO YOU DO AT A COMPETITION?

Generally a DECA Competition is two-fold: a multiple choice test (varies depending on subject matter) and a role play of a business scenario.  There are opportunities for written projects and presentations as well.
