It's never too early to start reading!	My name is Monica Christensen. I am so excited to teach Full Day Kindergarten at Hill Field Elementary! I have always dreamed of teaching Full Day Kindergarten! I have a Bachelors Degree from SUU in Elementary Education along with certificates in Early Childhood Education, Library Media, and an ESL endorsement. I have taught 22 years, 14 years in Davis District, teaching Kindergarten and First Grade, with one year in 3rd Grade. For three years during the pandemic, I taught at Davis Connect in the Independent Study Program where I helped parents teach their children at home. My students were in grades K-3. This is my second year at Hill Field Elementary. I have four children: The oldest two, a son and a daughter are married, my youngest two are both boys. One just graduated and my youngest will be a senior at Clearfield High School. I also have four and a half grandchildren . The family picture to the left is from last year. I love to spend time with my family, playing games, camping and hiking. I love to read, listen to audio books while I exercise, drive or clean and I crochet.
