Class Expectations

What does Mrs. Nielson expect from ME and all students in my class?

Students are expected to: 

Be in their seat when the bell rings, ready to learn, & prepared with the necessary supplies. This includes the supplies listed as well as completed notes and practice assignments. Students should take an active role in their learning by asking questions and participating in classroom discussions and seeking help when needed. All students are expected to follow directions, always use polite control, show respect for themselves, others, the classroom, and school property.   

Daily Supplies (bring these to EVERY class)

• Pencil (sharpened or with extra lead)
• Eraser
• Notebook paper
• Any assignment that is from the current term. (keep these in a flat folder until the term ends, then recycle)
• Any notes page or activity from the current term. (keep these in a flat folder until the term ends, you may keep them for future reference or recycle them). 
• Calculator (preferably your own, or borrow one in class if needed)

Other helpful supplies you MAY want to have on hand:

• Colored pencils, highlighter, personal pencil sharpener, small pencil pouch to keep all your supplies in so you always know where they are.
