What Does My Grade Mean?

You will earn 95% of your grade by showing, through assessments (tests, quizzes or major projects), that you have reached the learning goals. Quiz retakes will be available as needed and must be completed before the last week of the term. Tests retakes will not be allowed. All quizzes and test will be done in class and on paper. Each standard will be quizzed three times during class, after which retakes are allowed. In order to retake a quiz, you must not have ANY MISSING ASSIGNMENTS.

You will earn 5% of your grade through completing practice. You are expected to complete all practice assignments. Late work will receive full credit, but will lower citizenship if you consistently turn in your practice late. You will have up to 7 school days to turn in late/missing assignments before they change to a zero. If you need more time, please talk to me ahead of time. Five or more incomplete assignments will significantly drop your citizenship grade.
