One live concert report or one video concert report is due each term. Any concert you attend or watch should be at least 30 minutes in length and include your instrument. Video concerts MUST show the orchestra performing and cannot be a recording of the music. If a video of a concert or performance is less than 30 minutes you may watch several videos and group them for 1 concert report. This is usually the case with performers such as Lindsay Sterling, The Piano Guys, 2 Cellos, Simply Three, etc... If you are not sure if a concert is acceptable or not, PLEASE ASK! All concert reports must be completed using the online concert report form (use the link above). Concert reports must be submitted through the term project assignment in Canvas. If there is a problem submitting it this way, you may email your completed concert report to Mr. Kemp at rkemp@dsdmail.net Concert Reports will be graded based on your answers as well as Grammar, Content, and Spelling so please PROOFREAD your report before submitting it. All concert reports must be submitted during the term the concert took place or they will not receive credit. Video Concert InformationStudents may use selected movies or videos as concert reports with the following conditions:
YouTube videos can be used for video concert reports. If the video is over 30 minutes long, you may count it as 1 video concert report. If the video is less than 30 minutes long, you will need to group several videos for 1 video concert report. For example, several YouTube video performers such as Lindsey Sterling, 2 Cellos, Piano Guys, etc. . . have shorter videos; therefore, watch several videos to equal approximately 30 minutes of performance time for each concert report you complete. |
