Supply List
Items needed for each student:
- A pair of scissors
- Pencils (They need a lot of erasers and pencils)
- Erasers (small pencil top)
- 3 composition notebooks for subjects (bound similarly as a book-not a spiral)
- 5 pocket folders for subjects.
- Pencil box (smaller size that fits in desk)
- Glue Sticks (I have extras)
- Colored Pencils
- SMALL dry erase markers (not the size the teachers use on their boards. From experience, black and blue are the best--these wear out fast so send plenty-I also have some on hand)
- NO MARKERS! or crayons (I have markers when they need them, and the crayons are provided by the school)
- Pens (a few-any color)
OPTIONAL DONATIONS:
- Small classroom reward items (We use them for auctions and rewards through the year-optional)
- Kleenex Tissues (most needed supply)
- Clorox Wipes
- Paper Towels
- Hand Sanitizer
- Notice: The items of this list will be used during the regular school day. They may be brought from home on a voluntary basis, otherwise, they will be furnished by the school.
Dear Parents:
The fifth grade is asking for a one-time $20 donation to help with expenses this year, rather than asking for several smaller donations throughout the year. The money will be used for field trip admissions (JA City-Biztown is $5 a student), colonial day activity, and an end-of-year 5th grade celebration. One field trip will be paid for with PTA and school funds. More information will be given about dates and locations of the field trips when these details are finalized. Please go into MyDSD to pay this donation. You may donate, whatever you can do!
Thanks so much for your support,
The fifth-grade team
