Hello! My name is Mrs. Moss and I am SO excited that you are part of my 8th Grade Math class this year. It is going to be a fun adventure this year as we progress through all of the concepts in 8th grade math. Below are some hot topics that I get asked about each year. WHO ARE YOU? That is a great question! My name is Mrs. Moss. I have been teaching now for 2 1/2 years and I have loved very second of it! I absolutely LOVE teaching students not only about math, but how easy and fun math actually is. I do also have other loves such as music, hiking, watching movies, video games, and of course FOOD! I am married to the greatest person ever and we are expecting our first little kiddo. We have the worlds coolest dog named Nova and two cats, Mufasa and Bug. (You can see pictures to the right!) My favorite thing to do is to play my piano and clarinet, which I've been playing since I was in 5th grade! My favorite video game is called "Legend of Dragoon" but the one most people know is "Zelda: Ocarina of Time." My favorite thing to eat is pizza (of course), but I truly do love to eat almost everything. One super cool fact is that I ALSO went to Sunset Jr High as a student and it is pretty cool to be back as a teacher. To me this is one of the greatest schools around! |
