Welcome!

Chemistry is a fun class that integrates math and science.  There is chemistry all around us.  We will be learning about the elements, how they relate to each other and chemical equations.  My goal is for students to become better listeners, researchers, observers, and thinkers.  I believe in raising student's expectations of themselves to meet the competitive world that we live in.

About your Instructor

My name is Nannette Gunty.  I have 4 kids, 3 grandkids and the CUTEST Aussiedoodle ever!  I enjoy paddle boarding, yoga, snow skiing, and playing games with my family.  I have been teaching for 30 years, 13 in math and the last 17 in Chemistry.  I love teaching because of the students!  Every year a student will ask me a question that I don't know the answer to, this keeps me learning and wondering about many things.  I love teaching chemistry, science is so interesting and teaches critical thinking skills.
