Create a Canvas observer account

Canvas for Students:

Logging On
- From Buffalo Point’s Website (https://buffalopoint.davis.k12.ut.us/), click Quicklinks, then click Canvas under the Tools
- Click Login in the light blue box to access Canvas as a student.
- Login with your student email address and PIN number.
  - If your child forgets their log in information, it may be found on the Blue or Yellow Card located in the outside sleeve of the homework folder.
- I’m In Canvas, Now What?
  - Click on each published course every online learning day.
  - Check the announcements on the home page in each course for a checklist of assignments and/or modules due that day.
  - Click on Modules to access assignments.
    - Follow the directions and follow along on each page in order in the module, click Next to move to the following page.
    - Don’t forget to click SUBMIT after uploading or entering work.
  - What Else Can I Do In Canvas?
    - Send my teachers a message and read responses using Inbox.
    - Access my Canvas grades in each course by clicking on Grades.
    - See what’s coming up, a to do list, and recent teacher feedback on assignments all on the right side of the screen from both the Dashboard and each course.
