When You Reach Me by Rebeca Stead is a mystery novel. As a class, we will read When You Reach Me over the next 3 weeks. We will be studying the characters, discussing themes, learning new vocabulary and making predictions as we read the story. Wednesday and Thursday, May 4th-5th

I hope you all are as interested in where this story is going as I am- so much suspense! 

• Today we will be reading from Chapter 8 “Mom’s Rules For Life in New York City”  to Chapter 14 “Things You Keep Secret”.
• After reading we will complete the chapter summary page in our packets.
• Be thinking of what your favorite part in this section is, any new words you have learned and create a visual in your head of what is going on in these chapters.
