Fluency:

With your assigned partners, read the correct story for today out of your yellow books. Each partner needs to be timed for one minute and as you read, your partner will mark any errors, or self corrections and then mark where you end for each passaged.

After you have both read for a min, take 5 min to write a retell in your book. Remember, in a retell, make sure to give as many details as you can think of and have them in order.

MAZE:

We will also be work on our reading comprehension skills with the MAZE tests. You will be given a passage and in 3 minutes, will read through the passage and for each 3-word prompt, you will choose the word that makes the most sense in the context of your reading passage.
