Instructions
This FITT testing is a compilation of your personal testing scores for the Presidents Physical Fitness Test. It has a graph you will use to show your improvement, and you will list your personal goals for each test. The testing is based on an 18 week improvement plan that will include results from testing and retesting in class 3 times during the semester.
FITT Principle for Cardio Fitness
Frequency: 3 – 5 times per week
Intensity: 60 – 85% MHR
Time: 20 Minutes minimum
Type: A Continuous motion of large muscle groups is called Aerobic exercise
If you missed class or an item for the FITT testing, here is the information to do it on your own.
Pushups - 90 degree pushups(as many as you can do without stopping following a 2 second count up then 2 second down)
Sit-ups - As many full sit-ups that you can do in a minute with someone holding your feet.
Mile - Timed 1 mile run.
Sit-and-reach - Use the sit-and-reach box in class
