About Me

Hi!! I am Ms. Lacy!

This is my 17^th year teaching! I taught 2 years in Second Grade and then moved to Fifth Grade. I love teaching! It is great to see students learn and be successful and have fun doing it. We are going to have such a fun year! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you! Here are a few things about me!

I have 2 amazing boys. Cody, who is 24, and Garrett, who is 21. Cody is in the Army Reserves and works for a Golf Company. Garrett works at Warrens in Roy and is just working to save money for the future. I am an empty nester now, which is weird! I can't believe they are grown up! I grew up on a farm in Kentucky. We had horses and cows and lots of dogs and cats. We even had a fish pond, ducks, and geese. I love to bake, go to the movies, color, take pictures, travel, camp, sing, play the piano, listen to music, play football, go to sporting events, and much more. I am number 6 of 10 kids! It is great being from a big family!

My favorite colors are yellow and blue! I love chocolate peanut butter ice cream and pretty much everything chocolate! :) One of my very favorite foods is BBQ, and of course, being from the South, you can't get much better BBQ than there!! My favorite subject in school was always history and then probably English! I want to travel to so many places, but the place that is on the top of my list is Australia! I have a degree in Travel and Tourism from Brigham Young University and got my teaching degree from Murray State University back home in Kentucky!
