Name: Ms. Barrow

Mini Biography:

Science is something that has always been a passion of mine.  I graduated from Utah State University with a degree in biology and a minor in chemistry, then worked for a few years before getting my second degree in science education from Weber State University.  I started teaching science at the junior high level for a number of years.  After receiving my master's degree from the University of Utah, I eventually moved to high school where I have taught physics, biology (including AP) and chemistry.  When I was able to join the staff at Farmington High School I was thrilled with the challenge and opportunities it represented.  I currently teach AP Chemistry, Medical Forensics, and Biotechnology.  In addition to doing a lot of lab preparation every day, I coordinate and advise the Sterling Scholars and STEM fair at FHS. I am also involved in the STEM fair on the district and regional level.   I love reading, singing, and playing several musical instruments.  I enjoy spending time with family and friends and attending the theater.
