All about Ms. Mendoza

Hello! My name is Ms. Mendoza and I will be your English teacher this school year! This is my second year here at Sunset Jr High and I am absolutely pumped! I grew up here in Utah with my parents, my 3 younger sisters, and my dog Shasta. One of my favorite things to do is photography. I like photographing portraits, landscapes, events and wildlife. My other favorite thing is music! I haven't been to many concerts, but my very first concert was One Direction in 2013, and I will never forget it. A current band I am listening to is Dr. Dog because they're coming to Utah for their last tour and I am SAD. I love Hot Cheetos, tamales, orange chicken, m&ms, and sprite!

I am super excited to teach you and I hope you are just as excited to learn, mess up, succeed, and laugh in our classroom!

¡Hola! ¡Mi nombre es Sra. Mendoza y seré su maestra de inglés este año escolar! ¡Este es mi segundo año aquí en Sunset Jr High y estoy absolutamente emocionado! Crecí aquí en Utah con mis padres, mis 3 hermanas menores y mi perro Shasta. Una de mis cosas favoritas es la fotografía. Me gusta fotografiar retratos, paisajes, eventos y vida salvaje. ¡Mi otra cosa favorita es la música! No he estado en muchos conciertos, pero mi primer concierto fue One Direction en 2013, y nunca lo olvidaré. Una banda actual que estoy escuchando es Dr. Dog porque vienen a Utah para su última gira y yo estoy TRISTE. ¡Me encantan los Hot Cheetos, los tamales, la comida China, los m&ms y el refresco Sprite!

¡Estoy muy emocionado de enseñarles y espero que estén igualmente emocionados de aprender, cometer errores, triunfar y reír en nuestra clase!
