MyDSD shows I am missing an assignment, but I have turned it in

All assignments are automatically marked 0 and "missing," if the assignment isn't turned in on time. Students will submit an assignment late, but the 0 and the "missing" tag will stay there until the teacher has graded the assignment.  Usually, teachers will grade current work, before they will grade missing work. This may mean that students' scores reflect a 0 and "missing," even if they have turned the assignment in. Be patient! Teachers are always trying their best to update scores as fast as they can. Try the following in the meantime:

1. Check Canvas to make sure the submission was received. To do this, log into the Canvas Observer Guardian Account. You can open up the assignment, and the top right corner will tell you if it has been submitted.
2. Check the comments on your submission to see if there is an explanation from the teacher as to why they did not get credit, as well as if there is anything that needs to be fixed.
3. If both of these things have been completed, email me or send me a message in Canvas, so we can address the problem together.
