Tech Information

Canvas: This is the place we submit most assignments &  assessments. The links below provide information and assistance related to all things Canvas! Below, you will find both the text and video versions of the Student Guide:

Teams: Our class has a class Teams, which will mostly be used for video calls & meetings. Teams can be assessed through Office 365

OneNote: This is an online notebook that contains our daily planner. The daily planner will list what we do each day. It will contain links to assignments in canvas as well as links to other important handouts, forms and documents. Most graded assessments will be on Canvas, but OneNote is the place for practicing. It can be accessed through Office 365.

Flipgrid:  Flipgrid is a place students can create short videos for assignments & assessments. It is accessed through Office 365.

Google Photos-We have a class photo album for all pictures of our activities are stored. You are welcome to save any photos you see there AND upload pictures you take of our class activities, too. This album can be found in our Class OneNote under the Parent Info tab AND the link below:

 

Caring for Device at home and school

• I always carry my device in a secure arm hold.
• I always log off my Cloudbook after I am done doing my schoolwork and wait for the "Other User" screen to come up before closing the lid. 
• I plug my device in before I go to bed at night.
• I keep my device safe when it is in my backpack.
• I keep liquid and food away from my device.
• I keep all the special stickers on my device.
• I use my device in a secure location at home and at school. 
• I use my device for only schoolwork.
• I only use my fingers to keyboard.
• I can spray a 50/50 mixture or rubbing alcohol and water on a soft cloth to wipe down my device to clean it.
