Assignment
Did you know that for many years Utah farmers provided sugar? They plowed the fields, planted the sugar beets, and weeded, watered, and thinned them as they grew. After the harvest they cooked the beets, mashed them, and got a sweet syrup from them. they dried the syrup into sugar crystals. Then the sugar was packed into bags and shipped to places in Utah and other states. It was hard work to produce sugar!
Your task is to identify the factors of production that were needed by the sugar beet industry.
