4th Grade DESK Standards

The purpose of Davis Essential Skills and Knowledge (DESK) is to focus and prioritize the content that students are expected to learn. DESK was created by committees of teachers, administrators, and curriculum specialists to align State and National standards for student learning across the Davis school district. 

DESK identifies the skills and knowledge that are essential for students to master at each stage of their education. DESK vertically aligns knowledge and skills so that students who demonstrate proficiency in all standards should be prepared to be successful in their classes as they progress through grade levels and courses.
