When students arrive to class they hang up their personal belongings outside the classroom and come into class and begin their morning work.

Every week students will be tracking their reading and will be assigned a spelling and vocabulary list.

Spelling & Vocabulary
Spelling and vocabulary words are assigned each week and can be found in Canvas. Students may practice their spelling and vocabulary by logging into their Spelling City account and completing the assigned activities. Students who earn 100% on the Practice Spelling Test do not have to take the final spelling test on Friday.

Reading
Reading is one of the most important things that students can do to improve their understanding! It is recommended that students read at least 30 minutes each night. Students who can maintain this goal will qualify to attend class reading parties.
