About Mr. H

Here are some quick facts about me:

This is my second year teaching (both years at LHS)
I studied Russian language/literature at the U of U and later went back to Weber to earn a teaching certificate and a masters in education
I was raised in West Point, UT and graduated from Clearfield High School
In high school I was on the swim team
I am currently the assistant swim coach
I have lived in four different countries

Educational Beliefs

I believe that students should be in charge of their education. The best learning comes when a student is able to construct knowledge themselves, rather than it being provided to them. To that end, I will work to shepherd your students along as they learn about history and construct knowledge.
