Communication - Ways to Stay Connected!
In order to have a successful year, it is important to have great communication between school and home! Here are ways that we can stay connected this school year:
School phone contact: 801-402-1450
...If your child is going to be absent, please call the office by 9:00 a.m. and let the office know. If you have an emergency, when you call the office, please indicate that it is an emergency so proper action can be taken. (If the office connects you with my classroom, you will have to leave a message as I am usually teaching or assisting students -- I do NOT check messages until school is out at the end of the day.)
Email: tabell@dsdmail.net
...BEST way to contact me (as long as it is not an emergency)! I check email several times throughout the day -- I will always respond ASAP.
Weekly Parent Email with "Bell's Bulletin" & "Student Planner" page attached
...You will receive a weekly email with "Bell's Bulletin" attached containing updates & announcements, class calendar with important dates & events, and the Student Planner page with homework reminders all for your reference to support your child.
NOTE: Your child will receive a "HARD COPY" of the Bulletin & the Student Planner page in class at the beginning of each week to put in their BINDER.
Your Parent myDSD account - regularly updated to keep you informed
...This is a place to check-up on your child's progress. You will see posted scores for completed work and posted missing work giving you opportunity to assist your child.
