I am looking forward to being your child's teacher this next year. Let me tell you a little about myself. I have been blessed to be married to my best friend for 30 years. Our ever growing family includes four children (three boys and a girl), three fabulous daughters-in-law, and two of the cutest, smartest grandchildren!  As my children were growing up, I spent a lot of time on sports fields cheering them on. I also enjoy going for a walk or run, cycling, baking cookies or snuggling up with a soft blanket and a good book. Playing the piano is a way I relax each week.

This is my 10th year of teaching in elementary schools, but I've also taught for USU Extension, Western Governor's University, and  high school. I hold three degrees from Utah State University: a Bachelors in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education and a Masters in Education. One of the highlights of my education was spending a semester abroad in Israel. I love traveling and learning about people and their cultures. I'm grateful for many wonderful teachers that have fed my thirst for learning and inspired me to think deeply and expanded my view of the world.
