1  Phonemic Awareness Instruction:

2  Phonics Instruction:

Instructions: 

Watch the video of the story of the wedding of Q and U.

-  Print out the following papers to help celebrate the Q and U wedding.  

Download The Q and U wedding Hat

*  Color the Q and U wedding square and cut it out.  Glue on a headband.  Then cut out the small squares of the Quarter, Queen, and Question.  In the small squares you will write the Q and U to complete the words.

Download Quilt Square

*  Write a word that starts with "Qu" on the top line.  Then draw a picture of the word.  Cut the square out on the outside part of the dotted lines.  Feel free to print out more copies and have the whole family create a square to create your own "quilt" for the wedding present for Q and U.

**Optional**  -  Watch the Q and U wedding if you would like.  (This is not our class, but shows a very similar wedding like the one we will have).

3  Sight Word Instruction:

Download "We" sight word

Please print out the Sight Word paper to complete.  Please follow the directions on the paper to practice the sight word.

4  Imagine Learning  Imagine Learning Robot.png

Instructions:  Click on Clever.jpgto get to Imagine Learning.

-  Please work on Imagine Learning for 15 minutes.

5  Nearpod Instruction-

Instructions: Complete the Nearpod. 

You will then get a box that says, “Welcome to Your Lesson”.  Just type your child’s name and click the “Join lesson” button.  When finished, please click the "mark as done" button in the top right corner of your assignment page on Canvas.
