About Your Teacher

Hi I'm Michelle Barnes and I am so excited to be your teacher!

We are going to have a magical time getting to know each other and learning a lot of new things along the way! I can’t wait to get to know all about you, but first, let me tell you a little about me.

I grew up in Logan, Utah, and even graduated from USU.   Go Aggies!
Utah State University Logo​I taught second grade for 4 years, and then stopped for a few years to raise my family.  I started teaching again 4 years ago as  a Chinese Immersion Kindergarten teacher. I love teaching!  I am even learning some Chinese!  I have 4 fun and crazy boys!  Three of them are in the Chinese Immersion Program at Heritage just like you!
