About Your Teacher

My name is Maddie Wolfe and I will be your child’s 5^th Grade teacher this year. I grew up in Central California and moved to Utah in 2012. I have been married to my sweet husband, Nathan, since 2014. We have lived in a few different cities in the Salt Lake Valley, but finally settled in Kaysville in 2021. I love to read all types of books, but fantasy, historical fiction, and comic books are my favorite. One of my favorite things to do is play games; board games, video games, card games, etc. I love to play with large groups of people, small groups, and one-on-one. I also love to put on a movie and do a puzzle. I love spending time with my family. I am excited for the new school year and can’t wait to get to know my students and work to help them have a successful year. 

I completed my student teaching in a 3rd grade classroom in Granite School District. I have spent a lot of time in classrooms over the past few years through volunteer work. This is my second year teaching, and it is just as wonderful as I always dreamt it would be!

I attended Salt Lake Community College and received my Associate's Degree there. I then transferred to and graduated from the University of Utah in Elementary Education in 2021. I graduated along with my ESL (English as a Second Language) Endorsement. I received a 4.0 gpa every semester and was consistently on the Dean's List.
