Meet Your Teacher

All about Mr. Matt!
•I have been teaching at Wasatch Elementary for the last 21 years. My wife also teaches here at Wasatch, in fifth grade. We actually met at the old Wasatch Elementary.

 

 

•I have a wonderful family with 3 girls and 1 boy. Madison (21), Landon (9), McKenzie (7), and Molly (4)

 

•I spent most of my summer at my cabin at Bear Lake. That’s where I like to go to relax.

 

•My favorite place to vacation is the Oregon coast. We love camping there and doing fun things like crabbing, flying kites, playing in the sand, hiking, and making s’mores.

 

 

•My hobbies include camping, boating, water skiing, fishing, working in my yard, building things. I’m currently building a wishing well and rock wall flower beds in my backyard.

       

 

•I have been teaching at Wasatch Elementary since 2001. I started in the After School Program.  When I graduated from Weber State University in 2006, I started teaching 4th grade. I then got my Masters Degree from University of Phoenix.  I have loved every year, and I’m looking forward to another great year this year!
