What does "T" mean by a grade? 

"T" means that text has been submitted and is waiting to be graded.

Where do we find past assignments?

Go to the Canvas homepage, and scroll down until you see your class courses. Click on the course "Class Information" and click on the pennant that says "Past Work." This will take you to term modules where you can click on the day that you were absent.

How many times can I take a quiz?

It depends. Usually you have unlimited attempts to completing a quiz. I think that finding and correctly mistakes shows a greater understanding of the topic. There may be times where you get one try because I need to see where you are at and what supports I need to provide.  

How do we get a pairing code?

To get the code, go to your child's Canvas page and click on "Account" in the blue menu. Click on "Settings." Look at the left hand side with the long gray buttons and click on "Pair with Observer."
