Subjects

 Reading

We ask students to spend 20 minutes each night reading or being read to.  Students are more likely to enjoy reading when they are reading something they are interested in.  Therefore, we will let you and your student determine the books you read together each night.  If you need help finding books, please let me know. 

 Math

We use the Ready Math curriculum and the iReady Math program.  We strive to attend to precision and create models with mathematics.

 Science

Our science curriculum follows the SEED standards.  We cover these topics through our weekly reading themes.  Some areas we discuss are animals, weather, seasons, space patterns, light, and sound.

 Social Studies

Our Social Studies curriculum is covered through our weekly themes in reading.  Some areas we discuss are families, friends, community, and maps.
