In-text citations should identify authors/sources in the text of the essay using one of these methods: 

• In-text Author Tag: Book I of The Odyssey begins with Homer’s prayer: “Sing in me, Muse, and through me…” 
• Parenthetical: Book I of The Odyssey begins, “Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story…” (Homer).
