Essay Peer Evaluation and Revision

1- After revising your essay, find a partner who is also finished. (If you are at home, a friend or person in your house can do this for you.)

2- Write your school email on the top of your Self Checklist form Links to an external site., and switch forms with your partner. Email your essay to your partner, and then check your email for your partner's essay.

3- Once you receive your partner's essay, fill out the Partner Checklist side of the form. BE HONEST!! You are helping your partner know what areas to fix to end up with a solid grade.

4- When both of you are finished, have a short conversation about areas of strengths and what to improve. Go back and revise/edit for essay one more time. 

TIP: Read your essay OUT LOUD to check for fluency and help you catch errors.
