Diversity Book Project --DUE Dec. 9th!!

Choose one of the following options for your Diversity Book Project. Plan today how much you're going to read each week, and each day, so that your book will be finished by December 2nd, and then you'll have a week to finish your book project before December 9th.
Social Butterfly: Character Instagram Account
- Set up a profile for at least two characters
- Use this Instagram template Download Instagram template to make your character profiles
- If you need ideas on which characters to do, the protagonist and antagonist might be a good idea
- Include a post about each section of the plot diagram
- First Post: Rising Action
- Second Post: Climax
- Third Post: Falling Action
- Fourth Post: Resolution (ending)
- Each post (4) needs to have a picture that represents the part of the plot diagram, and a caption that explains it
Creative Writing: Alternate Ending
- After reading your book, add on to it or rewrite the ending.
- Follow the same writing style and other literary elements the author was using (POV, diction, tone, mood etc.)
- Your alternate ending needs to be at least 2 pages
- Times New Roman, 12 pt font, Double Spaced (at least 500 words)
- Write a paragraph about how your new ending might affect the main character and other elements of the story. (at least 5-7 complete sentences)
Interior Designer: Create a Character’s Room
- Create a portfolio that showcases a room that you have created for a character from your book
- Include a blueprint for the room
- Include samples for the walls, floors, furniture, decor
- You can do an online one and find pictures OR you can create a poster and take pictures from a magazine

- Write a one page reflection about the choices you made for the room and why you made them based on what you know about the character after reading the book
- Times New Roman, 12 pt font, Double Spaced (at least 250 words)
Film Fanatic: Book Trailer
- Film and Star in a movie trailer for your book!
- Gather some friends or family members to act in your film
- The point of a book trailer is to summarize the entire book in a matter of minutes
- Your book trailer needs to be a minimum of 1 minutes and 30 seconds
- Your book trailer should not exceed a total of 5 minutes

Architectural Genius: The Classic Diorama
- Choose a scene from your book and recreate it using a diorama
- Diorama needs to clearly show the setting, characters, and the plot of the scene you chose

- Write a brief description of your chosen scene to go a long with your diagram (5-7 sentences)
