My name is Mrs. Lynaya Hernandez. Before coming to Viewmont High School, I taught at Clearfield High School here in Davis County. Before that, I taught high school in The Bronx, New York City. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Voice, Theater, and Liberal Arts from the Boston Conservatory, and a Master's Degree in English Language Arts Education from Mercy College in New York. I was born and raised in Davis County, but I spent 17 years after high school living on the East Coast in Boston (MA), New York City (NY), Yonkers (NY), and Princeton (NJ). I love to bake, sleep, listen to music, read, hang out with my family, and heckle Hallmark movies. My favorite things in the world are my family, dogs, literature, Freddie Mercury, Bill Hader, podcasts, hot sauce, and Emo Punk music. I have Gilmore Girls, The Office, and Friends memorized (quiz me)! Enough about me; I'm here for you! Please don't ever feel awkward about contacting me with questions or letting me know when you need help in this class! My first priority is your success and growth in this class.
