About Mrs. Williams

My name is Stacy Williams! I am excited to teach 8th Grade Integrated Science and STEM Robotics this year. It will be a fun year. This is my first year teaching at Shoreline, and my first year teaching Junior High!  I have taught Elementary School for 20 years, and decided it was time to try something new. Our brains love to be challenged!  I am coming from Windridge Elementary, and I also taught a couple years at Whitesides Elementary. I  taught in Washington State for a number of years before moving to Utah about 11 years ago. Believe it or not, in those 20 years, I have actually taught all grades K-6, but my two favorite grades were 6th and 3rd grade. 

I went to BYU, Go Cougars! I graduated a long time ago in Elementary Education. I have my Master's Degree in Educational Technology and most recently finished my STEM Endorsement. I love to learn and I especially have a love for Science and STEM.  

I am married to Devin Williams, who is a Software Program Manager, and a lacrosse addict. He runs the Davis Youth Lacrosse Program, and he's your guy if you want to know anything about Lacrosse. I have 3 children, and all of them play lacrosse! My oldest son, Blake, is on a church mission in Ecuador, we have one more year until he comes home. He is an amazing athlete, and so fun to watch on the lacrosse field. My daughter, Emma, is also a lacrosse player.  She will be a Senior in High School this year.  She is thinking about becoming a nurse or teacher. She is also so fun to watch play lacrosse. My youngest son, is named Sammy. He will be a sophomore this year. He loves anything video games, and is most excited to start putting together his own gaming PC. He plays the saxophone and clarinet, although he is no longer playing instruments, he is excited to take computer programming classes this year. His love for lacrosse is wavering, but he has started playing tennis, so we will see what happens. As a family we love going to California every year and spending time with family on the beach and of course we love watching lacrosse.

I believe strongly in the importance of hard work. I believe anything is possible with strong effort. I love watching True Crime shows, and have seen almost every Dateline there ever was. My kids think I am crazy, but for me, its how they solve it.  I love to see how Science and DNA solves the crime.
