Seesaw is a digital platform where students use creative tools to take pictures, draw, record videos, and more to capture learning in a portfolio. It's also a tool for me to communicate and share what we're learning in the classroom. You won’t want to miss a single post! Seesaw is private; you'll only see posts created by me or your child.

To Sign Up Now

1. Click on the link above.

2. Choose "I'm a Family Member."

3. Create your account.

4. Choose your child from the list.

5. Once I approve you, you can see content from your child.

After you sign up, download the free Seesaw Family app and sign in. You can also access Seesaw from a computer. If you used Seesaw last year or have more than one child using Seesaw, follow the link above, then click the 'Sign in' tab at the top of the screen. You do not need to create a new account.

Epic! is an outstanding app that provides thousands of digital books and is free for our classroom use. There are many high quality books available to read and listen to. There is also a large collection of audiobooks and educational videos. We have Epic! loaded on our classroom iPads and your students will use this resource in addition to our classroom library for reading selections. If you'd like to use it at home, there is a free 30-day trial and then there will be a fee to purchase the app. One purchase will serve up to four children on one account. The code to access our class account is iyu1826.

This is a curriculum-connected research tool at just the right reading level for our emergent readers. It has thousands of nonfiction information and even has an audio option that will help increase word recognition for our young learners. There are extras including video, pictures, sounds, etc.

We will use this free fluency math fact program in class. It adapts to your student’s needs and knowledge. An information sheet that shows how you can log in and practice at home is in your back-to-school folder. It is free for use on a computer but there is a purchase price if you choose to use it on a mobile device. See their website for further details about this option.

You can access each week’s reading selections from our reading program and skill-based games from home. Your students have logged into this system at school. If your child hasn’t memorized his/her username/password information and you are interested in accessing our reading program’s digital content, please contact me and I’ll provide you with your child’s login information.
