Why Coding?
Most of the students I teach will NOT grow up to be coders. . .so why do we spend so much time on coding?
- Coding stretches your brain in all sorts of great ways.
- When you're coding you learn how to identify and describe a problem, break it down, and think carefully and logically as you build and test your algorithms.
- You learn how to persevere, how to learn from mistakes, and how to take what you've learned in one situation and apply it to a new situation.
- You get to use the creative parts of your brain AND the logical parts - it's a full brain workout!
