Why Coding?

Most of the students I teach will NOT grow up to be coders. . .so why do we spend so much time on coding?

Coding stretches your brain in all sorts of great ways.
When you're coding you learn how to identify and describe a problem, break it down, and think carefully and logically as you build and test your algorithms.
You learn how to persevere, how to learn from mistakes, and how to take what you've learned in one situation and apply it to a new situation.
You get to use the creative parts of your brain AND the logical parts - it's a full brain workout!
