How I am Using Utah Online Library

🔨Students will explain how slavery and other geographic, social, eco-
nomic, and political differences between the North, South, and West
led to the Civil War.

🔨 Students will refine their research skills along with doing their own deep dive into the Underground Railroad. They will then collaborate on making a travel brochure if someone wanted to trace a route of the RR in a real life situation. They will be using the Online Library

I would really love to incorporate this idea someday. I have been back east and visited some really neat places, but I would really like to visit some of the "stations" and maybe gravesites of people that made it possible for others to have freedom. These people are so special and put their lives and their families' lives in danger for strangers. I can image this would be transformative for anyone that followed this path wit the intent of connecting with people from the past. And it's student created.
