Objective
Introduce the relationship between proper nutrition and physical activity.
I will know how the food I eat affects my body.
Task
In this task, you will be logging your eating and determining how it effects your health and sleep.
Instructions
- Open the Food and Nutrition Log.
- Don't change your eating patterns at all, put down everything you eat and drink. This does not need to include every ingredient, just what the food is called. See the example.
- Write down your food and drink for 3 days in a row. Also write about how you feel, how you slept and how active you were.
- NOW change at least 2 things about your food and drink habits. Record this for 4 days, then answer the questions on the document.
- Submit your Food and Nutrition Log.
Example:
Monday Breakfast - Poptart and Bowl of Apple Jacks
Monday Lunch: 1 Chicken pot pie muffin and handful of wheat thins
Monday Dinner: T-Bone Steak
Monday Treats/Snacks: Brownies
Monday Drinks: 64 oz. water
