How do I know what my student should be doing in class?

  • All assignments are explained/graded through Canvas. Some will be submitted on paper but the final grading will show in their grades on Canvas which will then be imported to myDSD. Always check your student's "calendar" in Canvas, the "To Do" list on the right side of their Dashboard, and/or the weekly modules.

myDSD Links to an external site. shows my student is missing an assignment, but they say they turned it in.

  • First, check Canvas to make sure the submission was received by logging into your Canvas Observer Guardian Account.
  • Second, check the comments on your submission to see if there is an explanation from the teacher explaining why they did not get credit and for instructions on anything that needs to be fixed to get credit for the assignment.
  • If both of these things are completed, email me or send a message in Canvas so we can address the problem together.
